Puri
Skip it. The puri is not soft enough and the curry is very simple with not much flavor. The quesadilla that comes alongside it is decent, but the puri itself is a letdown. If puri is what you are after, this is not the place.
The visit
Ishtaa in HITEC City is the tiffin stop I point people to when they ask for one of the best breakfast and tiffin spots in Hyderabad. Pure veg, serious about dosa, and not trying to be a side-menu tiffin counter.
The dosa I had here absolutely slapped. Soft where it should be, crisp where it should be, and the chutneys are the real flex: a wide spread, each one worth finishing. You will not leave disappointed.
It sits on the higher end for tiffin pricing in the city, and for once that premium feels earned. Come hungry, try more than one chutney, and treat it as a proper meal, not a quick filler.
Easily one of the best tiffin shops in Hyderabad for me. The dosa slapped, the chutneys were excellent with real variety, and even though prices are on the higher side, it is worth it.
